ANDREAS EASTMAN trumpets are made to bring a professional sound and feel to all
levels of trumpet playing. The Eastman process of trumpet making takes great care to blend both technology and the hands of skilled craftspeople. Eastman chose to partner with the master brass instrument maker, Stephen Shires. Additionally, Mr. Shires has been acutely influential in the design and production of the entire EASTMAN brass line. His influence is evident in the standard of all EASTMAN instruments.
Shortly after we agreed to sign on as an EASTMAN dealer, we received our master order. We called upon EASTMAN for assistance with introducing these fine horns to our local market. EASTMAN responded within days and sent in their local representative, Scott Leamon. Mr. Leamon traveled with us to several middle and high schools in the surrounding area. The local band directors and private instructors were quite impressed with EASTMAN'S: Affordable pricing, availability of parts, wide selection, standard features, playability, and especially the five year warranty! Many of the directors were loaned EASTMAN horns to play for several days/weeks. Since that time we have taken numerous school orders and expect even more in the future. The EASTMAN ETR520GS Silver trumpet has a stylish appearance. You'll never need to pay a repair shop for additional features in the future. The ETR520GS is fully loaded with many great professional features as a standard! A full, free blowing, perfectly-pitched sound is acquired from the .460" bore. You'll experience ultra smooth and incredibly responsive valve action from EASTMAN'S high quality, hand-lapped, stainless steel, and brass ported pistons. The ETR520GS is equipped with nylon valve guides, brass valve springs, aluminum valve stems, gold plated finger buttons, gold plated top caps, gold plated bottom caps, first and third slide bumpers, third slide stop screw, push button style water keys with backout screw (no flimsy clips), golden brass leadpipe, double braced tuning slide, and hand-fitted nickel-silver outer slide tubes. The artistic engraving on the ANDREAS EASTMAN trumpet bell ultilizes the latest technology in diamond tipped machine engraving. Eastman’s proprietary bell spinning process produces a graduated brass thickness that gives the player a professional sound. The bell is 4.75" diameter, seamless, soldered solid wire rim, and made of beautiful golden brass for a great sound.
The EASTMAN ETR520GS comes standard with a gold plated and hexagonal dress up kit that includes: Top Caps, Bottom Caps, and Pearl Inlaid Finger Buttons!
The EASTMAN ETR520GS also comes standard with Push Button Style Water Keys on the tuning and third slide. These aren't the same as the amado water keys. These have a heavy duty screw on the back instead of those flimsy "c" clips you find on the amado.
