How do we clean it?
We totally disassemble the trumpet! This means loosening all the stuck caps, removing the stuck mouthpiece and freeing up stuck slides. (Sometimes slides are so stuck that we have to disassemble the slides to remove them. If this occurs, we will call you to let you know what needs to be done. A worst case scenario would be an extra $10-20. Most slides can be removed easily with the proper tools.) Once the trumpet is totally disassembled, we submerge your trumpet in three different "lacquer-friendly" water-based cleaning chemicals.

Degrease, Sanitize, and Brighten up your trumpet. We also put a little extra effort in the "Raw Brass" areas, if there are any. Finally, all of the inside of the tubing is hand scrubbed with stiff bristled flex brushes (Not Metal) in order to remove all sediment and trash from inside the trumpet. Your trumpet is then rinsed well, and allowed to dry for several hours. This prevents moisture discoloration.
Once your horn is dry, we install a trumpet rebuild kit that includes...
New inside/outside felts and/or cork rings

Heres a great idea... Buy a few trumpets that need repair at a pawnshop, eBay, etc. Ship them to me and I will get them fixed up then you re-sell. I have a few customers that do that now to make extra money!

No local superstore trumpets, office supply store trumpets, children's store trumpets, or other TOY TRUMPETS!! We cannot repair those.
